Don't pass the small lake without notice. It is on the left once you turn onto Riverview Drive. The fishing is great! In fact, in our little "Hamlet on the Hillside" there are numerous fishing spots. The George Washington National Forest, which surrounds us, has a 15 acre pond with public and handicapped access and a dock. Our legendary Shenandoah River has some of the best small-mouth bass fishing in addition to being it's own wonderful playground. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, rafting are all conveniently available.
